The BORA principle

We don’t even let cooking vapours and smells rise as we draw them away where they are created: directly at the cooktop, directly from the saucepan, roaster, frying pan or grill. This has nothing to do with magic, just with applied physics according to the basic principle of fluid dynamics. To achieve this, BORA quite simply uses a cross-flow that is greater than the rising speed of the cooking vapour. This means that today you can enjoy completely new perspectives in the kitchen: without a disturbing extractor bonnet. Without a disturbing extractor bonnet, without a source of noise directly at the ear - but with a whole new freedom in kitchen planning.

Cooking vapours rise at a maximum of one metre per second.

The BORA hob extractor generates a cross-flow, which is greater than the rising speed of the cooking vapour.

Cooking vapours are thus extracted where they are directly at the hob, directly from the pot, pan or grill, pan or grill.
