New energy label from 1 March 2021
Due to the revision of the Energy Efficiency Ordinance (EnEV), the more stringent energy efficiency regulations of the European Union (EU) will be incorporated into Swiss law. The EU has revised the energy label and optimised it to meet user needs. The new label will be introduced in the trade from 1 March 2021 and will in future only include the efficiency classes A to G. The criteria for the class limits will be regularly adjusted according to market and technology developments. The changeover to the new energy labels will take place in stages according to the completion of the new EU regulations. More information on the changeover can be found at: www.newlabel.ch
