Stainless steel – the first choice for the kitchen

Stainless steel is more than just a material: it is a statement of both style and function. It is a material which is robust, corrosion-resistant and 100% recyclable. Its timeless aesthetics harmonise with an exceptional range of materials and bring creativity into every home. Custom-made individuality

From individual shapes to different colour variants and exclusive designs – custom-made stainless steel products allow for unlimited design freedom when planning a kitchen. Swiss family business Suter Inox is one of the leading stainless steel specialists in the market for home kitchens. Our core area of expertise: the manufacturing of sinks, basins and custom-made designs. With the construction of our manufacturing facility in January 2010, a modern complex was created with a total area of ​​6,000 square metres in which we create unique products which are perfect for you.

Unique designs with character

Stainless steel has several faces. Our selection of stainless steel surfaces ranges from the classic finish through to extravagant textures and distinctive individual products.

The surfaces can be divided into three groups: standard surfaces, decor surfaces and special surfaces.

Standard surfaces

Silk matt finish

An impressive sheen. Our Silk matt finish stainless steel surface is hand-brushed to give it a unique sheen and impressive reflective power which gives your kitchen that certain something extra.

Broadband finish

As its name suggests, this surface is sanded with a wide belt, which is how it gets its characteristically straight, even and finely polished texture. In comparison with the Silk matt finish, the Broadband finish is somewhat more matt but retains a gently reflective effect.

Broadband Varix

The Broadband Varix is a variation of the Broadband finish. The sanding thread is somewhat shorter which intensifies the visual effect.

Swirl finish

The surface, which is treated by hand with a swirl sander, obtains an even and smooth appearance due to the swirling. This is the most matt of the standard surfaces. The swirling effect also makes the worktop resistant to scratching.

Green Line

From March 2025, the Silk matt finish, Broadband finish and Swirl finish (edge designs: A20 and A30, squish edges A20 and A30) will be available in the Green Line version. Particularly environmentally friendly stainless steel is used, the production of which results in up to 92% fewer emissions of CO₂.

Decor surfaces

Polaris Silver

For everyone seeking the exceptional: the Polaris Silver stainless steel surface impresses with its distinctive texture. In addition to its unique design, the surface also impresses with its strength, durability and easy care.

Polaris Black

The black finish means that the Polaris texture is strong on expression and sets exciting highlights in kitchen design. This surface allows for kitchen variations that are both modern and timeless at the same time.

Terra

The Terra surface has a fine, slightly grainy texture which gives the surface a soft and matt look. It blends seamlessly into the kitchen ambience and is a guaranteed eye-catcher.

Scratch-resistant and strong

Stainless steel surfaces aren’t just stylish, they are also durable. In the following video you can see how our surfaces pass the test: while a coin may leave marks, after a quick wipe-down, the surface is as good as new – without any scratches!

Special surfaces

BlackRange Industrial

The industrial look of this special surface is what makes the worktop into an eye-catcher. Irregularities in colour and texture make every piece unique. The black scale-layer is sanded by hand until a superb contrast between black and silver is created.

BlackRange Passion

The aesthetic magic of this black, individually-textured stainless steel surface is unsurpassed. Irregularities as well as differences in colour and texture are also part of the BlackRange Passion product concept, although they are less pronounced than with the BlackRange Industrial finish. This finish also has a higher proportion of black.

IceDesign

The premium IceDesign surface is genuinely unique in every respect. The individual surface structure of the hot-rolled stainless steel and the gloss level of the hard chrome-plated surface don’t allow for standardisation.

Polar Look

Polar Look expresses the magic of stainless steel in incomparable fashion. With this surface, hot-rolled stainless steel is processed with the use of a metallurgical material removal process (electropolishing). The result is an extravagant kitchen worktop.

Xrange Ice

The exceptional key feature of this surface is its cross-ground texture, which isn’t just exceptional in terms of its appearance but also its feel. In the Xrange Ice version, the cross-sanding is accentuated to great effect through the sheen of the hard chrome-plated surface.

Xrange Fineline

The Xrange Fineline version has the same textural properties as Xrange Ice. The only difference is its degree of gloss due to the natural stainless steel surface. In comparison with the Xrange Ice surface, the Xrange Fineline therefore has a comparatively warm colour and a more matt appearance.

Xrange Black

The unique cross-sanding finish of Xrange Black looks elegant and light at the same time through the combination of the black surface with the silvery shimmer of the stainless steel texture. The delicate processing and the perfected sanding technique allow the stainless steel to reveal nuances which play with exciting reflections of light and underline the special character of this surface. 

Silk Look

The hot-rolled Silk Look surface, which is hand-finished with a swirl sander, has a particularly matt and irregular appearance. The individual texture of the hot-rolled stainless steel remains discreetly visible as a special characteristic.

Hot-rolled

The irregular surface texture of the hot-rolled stainless steel and the matt, elegant concrete look give the product a distinctive, modern appearance. Each surface is unique and gives the kitchen an exclusive touch.
